1. Training and Storage for Ralawise

Ralawise, the UK’s largest supplier of apparel for printing and embroidery have been providing “blank canvases” to the promotional merchandise industry since the 1980s. In 2015, Ralawise were having their main warehouse refurbished with new racking, so needed somewhere to store stock >>>
Quick Space provided a 16 x 25m temporary warehouse, set up close to their current warehouse to maintain operational efficiency. This provided 400 sq.metres (4300 sq ft.) of additional space. Their refurbishment project went so smoothly, they decided to keep the additional space and it's been used for additional storage ever since.

In 2025, Ralawise asked to convert the temporary warehouse into a training space, installing packing stations and scanners to train staff on the new equipment. Quick Space retrofitted a floor, refreshed the cladding and changed the goods access doors to double personnel ones. Once training is complete, we will remove the flooring, swap back the doors and return it to a storage space.

2. A requirement to hold more stock of important specialist parts

A world class company in the aerospace and defence industry with locations around the world. They needed to hold more stock of important specialist parts in one of their UK locations >>>
Quick Space provided a system of two insulated and climate controlled semi-permanent warehouses 21.00 x 25.00, and 10.50 x 15.00m joined together with a 5.00 x 10.00m structure with eaves heights of 6.00m. The climate control was achieved with heating and dehumidifiers.

3. Distribution continued for an international wholesale clothing

This is the UK branch of an international wholesale clothing distributor, with locations across Europe. The business was changing the racking in their UK location, moving to a high narrow racking system to increase capacity. Whilst this was being done, distribution needed to continue >>>
Quick Space provided a 16.00 x 25.00 m temporary warehouse within 4 weeks of initial enquiry. Sited on a concrete yard adjacent to their warehouse, it was ideally positioned to maximise continued distribution efficiency without holding up the work being done in the main building. They kept goods moving in and out throughout the refurbishment project, keeping their clients happy. In the end, they kept the temporary warehouse for much longer, as it provided even more capacity for them.

4. Temporary Storage Warehouse for a chemical manufacturer

A well-known chemical manufacturer needed to maximise the space available for storing packaging materials but were limited by the space that was available on their site – it was wedge-shaped >>>
Quick Space met all of their H&S requirements, and gave them a temporary warehouse on time. Operations continued throughout the installation period, with minimal, if any, impact of their activities for the two days it took to erect. Since then we have also added another warehouse for storage of finished goods.

5. Additional storage for toys and games wholesaler

A wholesaler in the toys and games industry who had recently built an automated Pick & Pack facility, but the storage space needed for packaging and deliveries was insufficient to keep up with their growing business >>>
Quick Space within a week, had installed an 800 sq. m temporary warehouse on the only space they had available on site – an old airstrip! They had all the space needed, with loading bay doors big enough to allow 18m trucks in for unloading.

6. Temporary space for the hand over of brand-new vehicles

This sales & servicing company of specialist EVs needed a safe, warm space to hand over new vehicles. The inner-city location operated 12 hours a day, six days a week and could not be interrupted. It was key for the client that their customers could be guaranteed their usual fast,, high quality service >>>
Working outside of their working hours, Quick Space installed a temporary building, with lighting, heating and security. With careful planning, a keen eye for safety and a great relationship with the customer, we delivered exactly the space they were looking for.
